"Simple in premise yet as complex as you choose to make it. This is commercial card magic at its best. Absolutely incredible" - Adam Wilber
A spectator’s signed card fuses to the back of a magic button that has been lying on the table since before the trick even began. This impossible souvenir makes audiences scream. The magic is as easy as pressing a button when you perform The Magic Button Project by Craig Petty.
Here’s what happens:
A card with a large, friendly red button is placed on the table at the very beginning of the routine. The magician explains that they will share the secret of how all magic works and the secret is the magic button. A card is selected, signed, and lost into the deck. When the spectator presses the magic button, their signed card appears on top of the deck. This can be done again with a visual appearance on top of the deck. For a finale, the spectator loses the card in the deck, shuffles it, and presses the magic button a final time. At first, the card is nowhere to be seen. Then, in an impossible moment, they can turn over the magic button card and discover their signed card has fused to the back of it, and they can even take it home as an impossible souvenir.
The Magic Button Project is absolutely massive. Not only do you get the Magic Button gimmicked cards, a fully gaffed deck that you can perform with right away, but a tutorial over three hours in length that teaches you the basic routine described above, but dozens of other ideas as well. Sandwich routines, Vanishing Buttons, Multiplying Buttons, Wild Card presentations, even a killer Monte routine. The tutorial is also a veritable treasure trove of sleight of hand with cards. Beginners will be able to start off with easy routines and rapidly advance their skills. Workers will love how these commercial routines from Craig’s working repertoire kill in live performances. Let your audiences press the Magic Button, and then watch them scream with delight when you perform The Magic Button Project from Craig Petty.
